The Main Faculty Moot was the first moot established by the Society when it was founded in 1987, and since then has been held every year. The Main Faculty Moot is kindly sponsored by Raeburn, Clark, Christie and Wallace. This competition will test the skills of our members through a round-robin tournament, where teams of two mooters will moot against other teams of two mooters. Teams are not restricted by which year its mooters are in. The demands of this moot are slightly more than the first-year competition, as judges are likely to interject more often, challenge counsel’s arguments, and expect both a higher standard of advocacy and legal argument.
